Disney summer 2025 LEGO sets: Castles, Toy Story, and a few surprises

Disney fans, it looks like summer 2025 is going to bring us a magical wave of LEGO sets. This selection offers something for everyone, from castles to nostalgia for Toy Story. Let's address the rumors and find out what could happen to your collection.

LEGO 43257 Angel

We’re starting with something unique: Angel! Fans of Lilo & Stitch will recognize Angel as Stitch’s pink counterpart, and this set might finally give us another large-scale Disney buildable figure. At $59.99, this could be a great display piece for Disney lovers who want something a little different.

LEGO 43258 Princess

The name here leaves plenty of room for speculation. Will it focus on a single princess, or could this be a multi-character set like we’ve seen in past waves? For $99.99, I’m hoping for an elaborate build, maybe a princess-themed scene or a playset packed with accessories. What would you want this one to be?

LEGO 43264 Toy Story Celebration Train and RC Car (4+)

Toy Story fans, this one’s for you. With the first film celebrating its 30th anniversary next year, this Celebration Train could be a nod to its legacy. At $39.99, it’s likely a simple build aimed at younger builders, but I’d love to see a colorful train with room for Woody, Buzz, and the gang. The inclusion of RC makes me wonder if we’ll see any fun racing features too.

LEGO 43267 Disney Castle & Royal Pets

The centerpiece of the wave, this set seems to combine two fan-favorite elements: castles and Disney’s lovable animal companions. A $119.99 price point suggests a detailed build, possibly a modular castle design with mini builds for the royal pets. I’m hoping for characters like Sultan (Jasmine’s tiger) and Maximus (Rapunzel’s horse). Which pets do you think will make the cut?

LEGO 43274 Minnie’s Pet Hotel (4+)

This one sounds adorable. At $39.99, it’s likely a small, colorful playset aimed at younger Disney fans. I am thinking about a hotel-themed structure where Minnie can care for animals, complete with fun details like beds, bowls, and maybe even a small play area for the pets.

LEGO 43278 Mini Arendelle Castle & Elsa’s Ice Palace

Fans of the mini-Disney castles, rejoice! This $49.99 set promises to combine two iconic locations, Arendelle Castle and Elsa’s Ice Palace, into one compact build. If it’s anything like the mini castles we’ve seen for Ariel and Agrabah, it’ll be packed with charm and details despite its smaller size. How LEGO will fit two locations into one set is the big question, but I can’t wait to see what they come up with.

Why is Beauty and the Beast missing?

Some fans were hoping for a Beauty and the Beast set this wave, but it seems like that may have been a hint at something for later, possibly in winter 2025. The Mini Arendelle Castle & Elsa's Ice Palace appears to be more of a playset than a display piece, which may explain why it doesn't appear to have an 18+ label.

What do you think?
