If you’re a fan of amusement parks like I am, this rumored Creator Gift With Purchase (GWP) might be a nice addition to your collection. The 40758 Ferris Wheel with Fireworks is reportedly set to launch in January 2025. Featuring 230 pieces, it’s said to include a colorful Ferris wheel complete with festive firework details. Though no minifigures are included.
A Ferris wheel is always a showstopper, and if LEGO nails the design, this set could easily become a favorite to grab. I’m imagining bright, vibrant colors and clever building techniques to recreate the spinning motion. This set feels like it would pair beautifully with other LEGO fairground sets, like the Carousel or the Fairground Mixer.
Minifigures and a water ride?
I can’t help but wish LEGO had included at least one minifigure to complete the set. A ride operator or a cheerful visitor would have been a great touch to bring the scene to life.
Personally, this rumored Ferris wheel would absolutely earn a spot in my collection. Is this set something you’d want to build, or are you hoping LEGO surprises us someday with something even more ambitious, like a full-blown LEGO Log Flume or Wild Water Rapids ride? Imagine the flowing water effects, clever boat designs, and a splash-down feature to tie it all together. Now that would make waves in any LEGO fairground!
