LEGO DC Summer 2025 rumors: Batcave incoming, but Superman fans left hanging

Disclaimer: This article contains rumors that have not been confirmed by LEGO. Details such as pricing, release dates, etc. may differ from the final product.

The latest LEGO DC rumors are a mixed bag. According to the buzz, we’re getting a $99.99 Batcave set (76304) in summer 2025, but if you were hoping for anything Superman-related next year, it’s not happening. That’s right, Superman will have zero sets tied to his 2025 reboot movie.

LEGO 76304 Batcave: Another small cave for the Dark Knight

Look, I love Batman. And a Batcave? Always cool. But for $99.99, I’m already setting my expectations for something compact. This won’t be the sprawling, gadget-filled lair from the movies or comics. Most likely, it is a scaled-down, smaller version. And even while I'm all for more Bat-sets, I feel like we're in a loop. How many more Batmobiles, Jokers, or Mr. Freezes do we need?

Imagine if LEGO decided to shake things up and introduce some never-before-seen villains. Characters like Mad Hatter, Black Mask, or even Hush could breathe new life into these sets. And don’t get me started on The Batman Who Laughs, that guy practically screams for a LEGO debut. A villain-themed Batcave would instantly feel fresh. What do you think? Time for LEGO to step out of the Bat-box?

Superman (2025) gets no love

As a longtime LEGO DC fan, this part stings. With the Superman reboot movie on the horizon, you’d think LEGO would seize the opportunity to give us some Kryptonian love. A set featuring Superman, Lois Lane, and a proper Lex Luthor mech (no, not the tiny ones from years ago) would be an instant hit. Or how about a Fortress of Solitude?

It's difficult to accept that there aren't any sets, but it appears like LEGO is still very much focused on Batman. It's obvious that Batman has been DC's golden goose for years. But it wouldn't hurt to have a little variation, would it?

What’s next for LEGO DC?

LEGO DC feels like it’s treading water right now. We adore Batman, of course, but what about discovering the other DC Universe? Aside from neglected villains like Killer Croc or The Riddler with a comic-accurate twist, fans are still waiting for updated versions of characters like Clayface, Poison Ivy, and Ra's al Ghul.

And let’s talk big ideas: what if LEGO gave us Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) Batmobiles from the old-school movies, complete with villain minifigs like Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, and Bane? They’d have my money faster than The Flash.

What about you?

So, how do you feel about these DC rumors? Is the Batcave set already on your wishlist, or are you holding out hope for something bigger and better? And who’s with me on wanting LEGO to explore more of Batman’s rogue gallery, or even some Superman love for once? Share your thoughts below, and let’s keep the conversation going.
