A Brick-Built Slice of Baker Street
This detailed build offers two display options. The first presents the model as a closed book, complete with a printed cover showing Sherlock Holmes’ silhouette and signature magnifying glass. Open it up, and you’ll find a micro-street scene inspired by Baker Street, lit by Victorian-style lanterns and paved with 1x1 and 2x2 round tiles. Much like what we’ve seen in LEGO Harry Potter 75978 Diagon Alley.
In the second configuration, both facades of the street open outward to reveal more of the detailed street layout. The buildings, constructed in earthy browns, greys, and brick orange, stand two stories high. While most of the focus is on the façades, Holmes' residence at 221B Baker Street includes a small interior section featuring a fireplace, violin, and a detective board with a map of London and classic clue elements.
Five Iconic Minifigures
Included in the set are five minifigures that bring the scene to life:
- Sherlock Holmes, with his deerstalker hat, cape, and magnifying glass
- Dr. John H. Watson, holding a briefcase and walking stick
- Professor James Moriarty, dressed in a black cape and top hat
- A woman in purple attire, holding an umbrella
- A young newsboy, equipped with a satchel and newspaper featuring a “Moriarty Wanted” headline
Each minifigure comes with fitting accessories, adding even more character and narrative possibilities to the display.
More LEGO Book Nooks Coming in 2025?
Sherlock Holmes won’t be the only character stepping between the pages. According to early rumors, LEGO has at least two more Book Nook sets planned for release alongside this one in June 2025. Details are still under wraps, but it looks like this subtheme could become a new favorite among adult builders and display fans alike.
