LEGO Speed Champions summer 2025: Supercars galore

From a Dodge Challenger to two Lamborghinis, speculated Summer 2025 lineup is full with high-performance favorites. Let's evaluate what might be rushing onto store shelves and the reasons why fans are already enjoying this wave.

LEGO 77237 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Race Car

The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is a beast, and seeing it join the Speed Champions lineup is a dream come true. At $27.99, this one’s sure to bring some serious horsepower to your collection. Here’s hoping LEGO captures the Hellcat’s aggressive styling, from the iconic grille to its mean racing stripes.

LEGO 77238 Lamborghini Revuelto & Huracán STO

Two Lambos in one set? Yes, please. The combination of the Revuelto and Huracán STO seems to be a demonstration of Lamborghini's innovative design. This is one of the more expensive sets, costing $44.99, but you get two cars for the money. I'm interested to see how LEGO handles the STO's unique aerodynamic elements and the Revuelto's strong styling. This one should go without saying if you're a Lamborghini enthusiast.

LEGO 77239 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Super Car

Another Porsche 911 enters the Speed Champions lineup, and honestly, I’m not mad about it. The GT3 RS is a classic, and at $27.99, this could be one of the sleekest Speed Champions cars yet. I’m crossing my fingers that LEGO opts for a bright orange color scheme to match its Technic counterpart. Finally, an 8-wide Porsche 911 that’s worthy of sitting next to the 911 Icons set!

LEGO 77240 Bugatti Centodieci Sport Car

Time to rev up for the Bugatti Centodieci, a hypercar that oozes luxury and performance. In LEGO form, Bugatti's futuristic designs have always been exceptional, and the Centodieci should be no exception. This may be one of the most eye-catching sets of the wave, and it costs $27.99. Anticipate strong curves, fine detailing, and a construction that perfectly embodies this amazing supercar.

Why this wave stands out

With a wide variety of vehicles that appeal to fans of many backgrounds, this wave feels like Speed Champions is back to its best. There is something for everyone here, including hypercars and muscle cars. Additionally, even though costs are gradually rising, these sets should be well worth the money given Speed Champions' reputation for excellence and attention to detail.

The Lamborghini duo and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS are my personal highlights, but the Dodge Challenger and Bugatti Centodieci could easily steal the spotlight too. What’s refreshing is the balance between iconic brands and fresh designs. This wave isn’t just another lineup of F1 cars, and that’s a win for fans of variety.

What’s missing?

Some fans are still holding out hope for more movie cars in the future. A Speed Champions version of the DeLorean Time Machine from Back to the Future or the Ford Anglia from Harry Potter would be amazing additions to the lineup. And where’s the Mitsubishi Evo IX? Maybe LEGO is saving those for later, but for now, this wave feels like a solid win.
